October 2019: A good day at West Somerset WRC Autumn Charity Sprint. Both Mharukh and Velvet are Stake Winners. River’s son Denver and grandchild, Pumpkin are also stake winners.
August 2019: Another road trip to Southern Germany. Marukh takes Winners Dog whilst Zaniah takes Res Winners Bitch
July 2019: Tioga takes Best American Bred at both UKSWC shows and is Res. Winners Dog at the Gower show
April 2019: Beaux takes his second consecutive BOB of the season
March 2019: Marukh makes his debut at BSFA and ties BOB with uncle Beaux
August 2018: Team Kushbudar took the two puppies and one other to the Friends of Silken Windhounds Festival held in Southern Germany, close to the beautiful Lake Constance. Both puppies excelled earning Best Puppy in Show and Best Opposite Puppy in Show on both days
July 2018: A return to Kent for the UKSWC Annual event. Kushbudar dogs did good, either for ourselves or their owners, taking many top honours but culminating however in Best In Show for Velvet
June 2018: This month Beaux takes BoB. The puppies from the Stars & Moon litter came to this meet for some socialising. The film crew for Channel 5 Wonderful World of Puppies was also in attendance so we look forward to some more footage on TV.
June 2018: Another trip to Silkenfest. As outgoing ISWS International Delegate it was only fit to be in attendance to give the Board my annual report in person....as well as to watch the showing and racing of course!
May 2018: River moves up into the veteran classes but still takes joint BoB at May's lure coursing event. The puppies star in Channel 5's The Wonderful World of Puppies, seen at home, on the beach and watching some straight racing
December 2017: The Moon & Stars litter arrive. 3 boys and 2 girls.
October 2017: Following the last meet of the season the Silken Windhound Lure Courser of the Year is Beaux, with father, River, runner up. A super coursing year by all accounts
September 2017: Kushbudar kennels continue to dominate with Beaux taking his turn again with BOB
August 2017: This time River takes Best of Breed, this time on his own (!), at the August BSFA meet. His other son, Surfer, is a close second.

July 2017: At the UKSWC Track event progeny from our Riverdance litter took 3 of the 4 top awards. K. The Heart's Cry was Fastest Open Dog and K. Na Sidhe was Fastest Open Bitch (a very special moment for me). K. Whispering Winds was Fastest Novice Bitch. Additionally K. Reel Around the Sun and K. Countess Caithleen both took the Plate in each section
May 2017: We were lucky enough to travel to SilkenFest 2017 in California, our 4th SilkenFest, keeping abreast of the breed development in its country of origin. I was honored to be able to handle Endevor Kristull Snowcloud (a son from K. Cloudsong at Endevor) on behalf of Francie Stull to whom he was exported out to, at this show. A UK handler and a UK bred silken at SilkenFest, USA was a rare treat!!
May 2017: Meanwhile Kushbudar Whispering Winds at Variare takes BISS at Friends of Silken Windhound Specialty Show. This final win makes Socks up to an ISWS Champion - this being the 2nd UK BRED silken to achieve this accolade. We are delighted for Joy and Socks
April 2017: Beaux (Kushbudar Chu Chulain), Best of Breed, BSFA. Winner at WSPRC Charity Sprint
October 2016: Beaux (Kushbudar Chu Chulain), best male Lure Courser 2016, BSFA
July 2016: Velvet takes the crown at the UKSWC Specialty Show in Lincs, with her brother Surfer taking BOSS for Kennel Pengybrook. Beaux and Socks (Variare Hounds) are also reserve winners. More on the Show Results page
June 2016: Kushbudar Song Cloud of Endevor has a litter of puppies for Endevor Kennels

November 2015: River pulls back to win his stakeholder group at the Otmoor Challange. His son, Kushbudar The Heart's Cry (Surfer), with Pengybrook Silkens takes his group too. A resounding end to a fantastic year
October 2015: Kushbudar Reel Around The Sun (Sonny) owned by Toni & Tristan wins the 2015 BSFA Lure Coursing Silken League
August 2015......to date (!): A busy but magical time as the Silken's received invitations to join in with the last 3 meets of the BSFA (Lure Coursing), a Charity Sprint hosted by West Somerset Whippet Racing Club and to round the season off, participation at the Otmoor Endurance Challenge held at Bicester Oval Track
July 2015: A weekend in Scotland. The UKSWC hosted TWO Specialty Shows this year - another brilliant achievement for the club. As has become tradition with the Club, the second day was 'Performance Day' on the Track. Also a very good event for Kushbudar with the three Alize/River progeny - Beuax, Isla and Sonny - who were exhibited beating 'dad' on the track!!
July 2015: Kushbudar Whispering Winds at Variare is awarded her certificate as a PAT dog
February 2015: Appointed as EU Delegate on the ISWS Board of Director's
October 2014: Back to Europe for another Silken Specialty Show
September 2014: Road trip to Scotland for The Scottish Silken Derby. River returned home with a glorious trophy after taking top honors. Was a great event, a great atmosphere and we also traversed some of the stunning countryside whilst 'up north'. Accompanied by Joy and Kushbudar Whispering Winds at Variare (Socks), who also came home having done very well in the puppy trials.
September 2014: Venture Hills Sprint. An event I coordinated to provide a straight race event for any of our silken owners to take participate in. Opportunities to race were still very limited at this time and this event was both an ideal silken social as well as an introduction to racing for the less experienced (that was pretty much all of us!!)
May 2014: Morgandell Tioga came home with us from our trip to the States. Co-owned with Pengybrook and Endevor, this boy carries very special bloodlines, a scoop for the UK. We are so grateful to Cyndi Dell of Morgandell for creating this great opportunity
May 2014: Travels took Martin & I to Washington, USA on this occasion where I had been invited to Judge the Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes at the annual Silkenfest Specialty Show. This was a great honour.
January 2014: 8 bonny babies arrive ! Born to ISWS & UKC Ch Allagante Winsome Riveria and Endevor Flashdance. An equal split of 4 boys and 4 girls.
September 2012: ISWS & UKC Ch Allagante Winsome Riviera (River) arrived at Kushbudar from Jane Taylor of the Winsome Kennels, Washington. After a long flight on a rain lashed day,River arrived in UK. A very well adjusted boy he settled in to his new home seamlessly and quickly claimed the beach as his zone where he can be seen practising warp factor five across the sands!
August 2012: Silken Windhounds were invited by the committee of The Hound Show to take part in a Parade of Endangered and Rare breeds at their annual show, held Stafford, England. Some pictures of the day below:

May 2012 : First UK Silken Rally Match in Kent, England. This was a great day for Silken's in the UK, with Judge Claire Boggia accepting the appointment. See the UKSWC website for results and more pictures
Janaury 2012: Nominated as Chairperson to the UK Silken Windhound Club
2010: ISWS Speciality, Slovenian Sighthound Show and Euro Dog Show. It was a long way to travel and were just as pleased when we arrived back home in Devon!
